Eoin’s message to Novara customers

Dear Customers,

I am writing to tell you the good news about the takeover of Novara by award winning Irish company Digiweb. I first spoke to the MD of Digiweb in 1998 when I was trying to register a .ie domain for my former business www.costellojewellers.ie . In those days there was an inordinate amount of paper work involved in getting a .ie and I rang Digiweb in frustration to find out what was taking so long. I had a great chat with owner Colm Piercy as he explained the process to me (and he got the IEDR to speed up my registration!).

Little did I know at the time that I would set up a .ie registration company that would grow from a spare bedroom in my house http://www.eoincostello.ie/novara_beg.html to being one of the 3 largest hosting companies in Ireland (and that we would revolutionise the process of applying for .ie domains in the process with our .ieXpress).

As we all know Colm has gone on to achieve amazing things with Digiweb from equally small beginnings. Therefore it is quite apt that our two companies are now coming together with the clear objective of Digiweb becoming number 1 player in hosting in the Irish market. This will enable Digiweb to provide unsurpassed service to our customers with an ever increasing range of products and services provided by staff located in Ireland.

The personal relationships that all of us at Novara have developed with our customers have made the hard work of the past 8 years all worthwhile, people like Kieran at Key Business Solutions, Louise at Blue Pages and the girls at Aura Internet.

Our Novara team will continue our tradition of great service (see below) within the Digiweb family. Apart from our customers I have to say that I will miss my Novara colleagues, we have built a great team of dedicated people who will now go on to have great careers within Digiweb.
